| 2nd ANNUAL PORTLAND NIKE 5K RAISES NEEDED FUNDS FOR SCHOOLS TO HELP KIDS GET ACTIVE The NIKE 5K for Kids and Let Me Play 1 Mile returns to Portland and surrounding communities Saturday, June 7 to encourage activity among youth and to raise funds for individual schools’ Physical Education (PE), athletic and play programs in the metropolitan area. The race is a part of Nike’s Let Me Play initiative, a global commitment to support programs and efforts that help youth unleash their potential through sport. 100 percent of all entry fees will be donated to the school PE, play and athletic program of each entrant’s choice. The top finishers in each age division will receive awards. The entry fee is $15, which will be donated to the 501(c) 3 school of each entrant’s choice, plus an additional $5 for a NIKE 5K For Kids t-shirt. Jackson’s Ride the Gorge ![]() Come ride through the beautiful Columbia River Gorge! A Fund raising event for the NW Sarcoma Foundation and our cycling event offer 3 different rides, 25 mile family fun ride, a 100 K and 100 miles. You can ride and fund raise as a team, individually or as a family group. There is also a VIP Gold Level Spa weekend package at the Bonneville Resort and Spa. Come celebrate July 12th as we encourage our riders and enjoy good food and entertainment at the Marnia Green in Hood River.
